U-Ch. Istari Sapphire Mist
Mist is coowned with her co-breeders, Beki Vale & Francois Blachere (Sunnyvale Shelties) and our daughter, Rebecca Porter. Mist typifies the moderate, feminine bitch we prefer. She is a litter sister to our Ava, and Beki Vale's Heidi.
Mist won a major reserve from the puppy class under Sheltie breeder-judge, Joyce VanKirk. Mist went to the fall 2005 Yuma AKC shows with her cobreeder, Beki Vale, and judge Patti Long Smith awarded her Winners Bitch for a 3 point major! And, judge Robert J. Moore awarded her Winners Bitch (2 pts) at the Silver State Kennel Club and Mrs Thomas Gomez awarded her a point at the Coronado KC. Mist also finished her UKC championship in 2 weekends.
Back in the AKC show ring after maternity leave, Mist was Winners bitch & Best of Opposite Sex under judge Robert Shreve at the Rio Pecos Kennel Club.
